Working from photographs of your fishing boat, sailboat or yacht,  Alan can create an original watercolor for you as a separate piece of Art or to be added to a map or chart.  Photographs from the desired angle, as well as a few additional photos from various angles and some detail shots will insure accuracy.  A photograph of the boat name and graphics will allow Alan to incorporate that element into the composition.  If you don't have a good running or under sail shot Alan augments your photos from images on the internet and working with most of the major boat manufacturers in procuring an accurate moving composition for you.  It is also important for Alan to know the year, make and model of the boat to help with any additional research necessary.

Photos taken from the boat in slips work fine for the most part. Taking numerous photos of your boat moving in a slow full circle from a dock or another boat is ideal.  This ensures that no matter what direction the boat needs to be to make the composition work on the map or chart, Alan will have the angle he needs.  It is also helpful to know the year, make and model of the boat to help with any additional research necessary.   Alan will guarantee that the work will be done to the satisfaction of the client.
